“If you stay here, you are literally at the center of downtown. Clean rooms, friendly staff. You need to check in at 1661 down the road and they will store your bags on arrival/departure day. This is my second time staying here and I would again in the opportunity presented itself. You can’t go wrong at Hendrickson house! ”

“We loved our stay at the Old Bakery Inn. I visited with my two children and our dog, and it was the perfect amount of space for us with two bedrooms and a kitchenette area. The owners have made sure anything you might need is available, from toiletries to beach gear. Looking forward to staying again in the future!”

“Charming hotel. Love the history. Staff is extremely nice and welcoming. Enjoyed quietly reading a book by the fire pits. I happened to stay in a room that was above the furnace, I guess? So my “Comfort “ rating would have been higher, but my room was pretty hot - even with the window propped open. Not a huge deal tho. Really loved my first trip to BI and my stay at The National. Will definitely be back. Thanks again to the staff!”

“Overall great time at an expansive property that is located walking distance to Mansion Beach, Andy's Way, Clayhead Trails, and the North Lighthouse. At the time we stayed here we had access to three buildings. Main house (historic Daniel Mott homestead) with a full kitchen, two full baths, outdoor shower, three bedrooms, and a pull out couch. The cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen, bath, and the bunk house with two bunkbeds, a sink, and an outdoor shower. More then enough room for the 10 people……
