The home can accommodate a large group but be aware there is no dishwasher for a large gathering or extended stay.. “We chose this location so my daughter and son in law could attend a wedding at the Elizabeth Furnace and not be far from their newborn. It was just 5 minutes away! Upon arriving we were just blown away with the beauty of the home (more like an estate!!). We were able to settle in nicely and enjoy the local treats the host left for us. “We decided to rent this place as a surprise get away for husbands bday, house nicely restored, wood fllors charming but they do creek and in some places are missing, bed comfy, kitchen well appointed, towels soft, couch is ok, TV’s are good, easy door access. Hosts fast responders. We were initially intimidated by the neighborhood, worried about car safety was reassured by hosts it is safe. Opted to use close by parking garage which was convenient. “The home was quite spacious, comfortable and well ėquipped. We had a minor problem due to lack of understanding the hvac system, and the owner was there in person very promptly to help. We loved the back yard, and the sleeping arrangements were comfortable. This home has all the modern conveniences but really is right in the midst of Amish farmland. Buggies went by the house by the dozens. ”

“This house was perfect for our family. We stayed Feb 2025, 15 family members. Plenty of room for all. House was immaculate and well stocked - plenty of dishes, cookware, etc. Everyone's favorite was the coffee nook - regular coffee pot, Kerig, plenty of coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. I had to call the host twice while we were there with basic questions - she got back to me right away and was very sweet. Would definitely stay there again. ”
