“Overall, our stay was great. The house was beautiful and our host was great at communicating. House was stocked with everything we needed. The only thing was, some of the dishes were a little dirty, but it might have just been because they hadn't been used in a while. A quick wash and it was fine. Loved that they had a keurig coffee maker. We were a late check in which I let the host know, but when we arrived, there is little to no lighting or signage. There was a sweet farm cat who came and sat on the porch with us who ended up having kittens during our stay. The shower was so hot and the water pressure was great. The bed was very comfortable. “This is a well-built, new, very clean cabin with front and back porches, hot tub, firepit, gas grill, charcoal grill, full kitchen, excellent queen bed in a loft. Bright stars at night. 42 species of birds observed on the wooded property in late April, including red-headed woodpeckers and flickers building nests right next to the driveway. The adjacent farmland and woods and its location on an unpaved road make it quiet at night. Within half hour drive of Edge of Appalachia Nature Conservancy……
