“This wonderful cabin, high top of hill above the Ohio river, and across from the east end of Maysville Kentucky is just almost beyond words. The big porch across the front with rocking chairs to watch the barges go up and down the river and the trains go up and down on the Kentucky side. Even though it’s quite rustic with original cabin walls on part of it, the appointments are lovely; almost as though the owners live there. Unusual in a rental and really appreciate it!I track birds on my phone……

“One queen bed on main floor which is good for a couple or single. The twin beds are up an extremely tight spiral staircase. Upstairs twin beds are about 12” off the floor. The upstairs is suitable for children ages 6-14 but not adults. The cabin is very nice and well supplied with all essentials. ”

“Traveling as a family of 5 is tough to plan and our teens are too big to share hotel spaces these days. Our stay was perfect for our family. The property is magic and our teens spent a lot of time exploring the trails and creek. We would love to come back when we can stay longer. So peaceful and just right for us!”

“This place is perfect if you’re wanting peace & quiet away from the hustle & bustle. We loved sitting on the porch listening to the storms come in and fishing at the pond catching fish after fish. We played games on the porch and in the lawn and grilled dinner each night. It was like camping with a really nice place to sleep & shower in. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away from people. It was the perfect get-away for our family!”

“We, my husband and I stayed here last year and added my sister and her husband thia year. We were asked to switch cabins, not a problem at all. It was exactly the same. Everyone mentions the cleanliness and its true. The funny thing was my sister walked around the cabin and exclaimed, "it's just as clean outside." More than that, it is quiet with nature sounds all around. I love the front porch and the firepit area. Everything is top quality and so well maintained. We will be back.”

“We had an amazing stay, everything exceeded our expectations! This is where I proposed to my fiancé and I couldn’t have asked for a better time. The property was spotless and throughly clean, the hot tub has a canopy and privacy covers which is an amazing touch so we didn’t get sunburned. It was nice and quiet with beautiful lighting and a warm sense of comfort. The property manager was kind and available to answer any questions we had and left a little note for us when we arrived.
