“We had a wonderful stay at this property. The creek and wooded area was fun for our kids to explore and the firepit was perfect for smores every night (with metal sticks provided!). While the kitchen isn't huge, it definitely had plenty of space for our needs and was well stocked with utensils, pots/pans, etc. The beds have the softer memory foam toppers and there were more than enough linens for us to use. Any communication we had with the host was quick and easy.”

We had a wonderful stay and were very appreciative of how nice the cabin is. We loved it and will be booking again in the future! Perfect place to just go and be quiet. “My mom, SIL, and I took a much needed three day weekend away to visit the Maple Festival and spend some girl time together. The Cabin at Back Creek is the perfect spot to do that. The proximity to the sites of the festival is perfect; we didn’t feel like we were in the car too long and the views along the drive are amazing. “this was a beautiful location! the cabin was private, and the onsite trails were nice. it was conveniently located to Monongahela National Forest, and many trails for hiking & climbing. “This house is very nice and clean. The location is right off the highway and is great if you are skiing at Snowshoe or attending other events in West Virginia and Virginia. We were there for the Maple Festival located in Monterey, VA. Overall the house is as it appears in the listing with one little thing all should know. “Rustic but new, clean and comfortable place to stay that was very quiet and removed from only other rental along the gravel road. Outhouse was very clean, no bugs, and easy to use despite needing to go outside to the corner of the cabin. Hosts very responsive and helpful, would stay again. I would note that the Wifi is on the weaker side but I was able to do everything I needed. ”

“My partner and I stayed here for two nights and it was just lovely! The drive in was beautiful and low stress since I downloaded the map so I could access it offline. The check-in process was easy and the hosts left a wonderful loaf of home made sourdough bread for us.The mountains were beautiful and so relaxing.
