“The hotel was by the blue lagoon. Perfect location to explore the local area/tourist attractions. Near lots of restaurants. Beautiful sea views from our room. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout. The breakfast was delicious! There is no pool at this hotel as advertised. There is a large (very large but cold) jacuzzi in the basement but it is not a pool. I was not a fan of the air freshener smell! Otherwise, this hotel was great and I would recommend.”

“Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr genossen. Palazzo Castagna liegt nah am Flughafen und am Fischerdorf Marsaxlokk, aber abseits aller anderen Hotspots der Insel. Das sorgt für erholsame Ruhe insbesondere in der Nacht. Das historische Gebäude wurde auf großartige Art und Weise saniert und ist optisch ein Traum. “I booked the hotel for 2 nights. Birkirkara is probably not the city people would come visit while in Malta, but surely this hotel will attract some. I have been upgraded to try out this not so long opened hotel and i was very much please. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and offering all the needed amenities. “This hotel is a hidden gem in a popular country. We stayed 4 nights here. The staff was exceptional in setting up a very home feel environment for their guests. We had many conversation and chats even with the other guests in a very relaxing and comfortable evenings. We had dinner 3 nights in the hotel and they are able to indulged my appetite with 3 nights of fish which I love. The room itself was basic but functional and clean.
