“Was enough for a one night stay. View of the mountain and close to Acadia National park. The cottage is listed to sleep three and it only sleeps two. That needs to be fixed in the websites description. ”

“Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. Was forced to find a different room last minute because the host was completely non responsive to multiple Messages and attempts to reach them. Only plus is that……

“Stayed here unplanned after our car needed to go in unexpectedly and absolutely loved it! Adorable set up. The owner was incredibly nice, even helped us pick our car when it was ready. Staying with all the animals was so much fun. Hiking bald mountain was so cool, we got to ID some new lichen and mushrooms. P.S. the eggs are delicious and I think their horse just had a foal right before we left!?”

“Pros: Very quiet, clean and comfortable. The bed was great (despite some other reviewers dislikes) and the check-in process was relatively easy. Just a short drive to Camden and Rockland and most everything is right off of the main road in both towns. Cons: There is a main office there, but they do not do anything with regards to reservations. There is no way to check-in early or discuss anything reservation related with someone in person on the site, you are required to go through the……

“We enjoyed our stay and the place was wonderful! We bought things to pack a lunch for Acadia, and it was nice there was a grocery store 2 minutes away. Being able to do a load of laundry after traveling and being hot was amazing! The place we stayed before had a washer and dryer, but we didn't want to buy a lot of detergent for one load. Also, not having us do any clean up before we left was a really nice bonus. I don't mind the small things other places ask us to do, but that you acknowledge……

“The cottage was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable, We really enjoyed and made good use of the fire pit. It was all set up and ready to light. Southwest Harbor is my favorite place to stay on the island. It is much less touristy than Bar Harbor but still has some good dining options as well as a nice coffee shop. We had a great stay.”

“This was the perfect cozy cottage for a stay before heading to Acadia. It was clean, well-stocked, and had charming decor. The host was very kind and welcoming. The cottage is situated on a beautiful, quiet property with a view of Cadillac Mountain in the distance.”
