The yard is beautiful and peaceful. We were lucky enough that our stay fell while the lupins, peonies, and roses were all in bloom all over the property. There were fireflies in the evening over the field. We had easy day trips all over the midcoast: Boothbay and the botanical gardens, Camden, Belfast, Castine,……
