“Artist Sky Loft is a lovely apartment in Black Mountain. The decoration is awesome, very bright and artsy. The place has been upgraded and is very clean. The location is directly downtown and you can walk to everything. The only thing to be aware of is it is on top of a bar so you can hear the band and noise until they close at 10 on Fri and 11 on Sat but it wasn't a problem for us. “We enjoyed our stay very much. This home is very roomy and comfortable and so close to the Biltmore. There are restaurants close by and downtown Asheville is just a short drive away. There is still some rebuilding in progress in the area due to the hurricane but we were not disappointed at all. ”

“Studio rental on corner of Main St and 1st Ave was excellent location for wandering around this adorable downtown area.The block contains multiple restaurants. The courthouse / museum is North one block. The Visitors Center is one block South. There is a convenient assigned parking space at the back of the building (around the block). As you know though randomly some people will still take advantage of the empty space, I only had one instance of this and parked at the Visitors Center instead.……

“My wife and I had the best time. It is the greatest little cozy and quiet super clean place we had stayed so far, 3 min to hiking and close enough to asheville and chimney rock, you could find. They are wonderful people with the cutest little dog. A+++ rating for sure”

“The place was well appointed and clean. The king size bed was fabulous! However, if you don’t like stairs, noise and no yard for your dog, don’t stay here. It’s by a hospital so lots of ambulances and helicopters. There is also someone in the neighborhood with a really loud motorcycle. Lots of road noise. There are earplugs and a sound machine but it was no match. The hot water takes a long time to come on so you end up washing with cold water. There are thirteen pretty steep stairs to get to……
