"The property is beautiful. The staff was very professional and accommodating. The food in the restaurants in the hotel was very expensive. Appetizer, hamburger with fries and sweet tea for 2 people was close to $90. If you are a person who want to have a relaxing vacation, this is your place."

"Such a wonderful stay at The DeSoto! Brought our daughter down for a college visit at SCAD and it was the perfect location! Walking distance to everything, so many cute shops, bookstores and places to eat close by! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the room was spacious and very clean. ..."

"Overall, the property was clean however, there was a musty smell in the room. Towels were changed but bed was left unmade. I think it would be nice to have the bed made when towels are being replenished. Dining wise- more food options, especially for kids should be included in the pool area."
