“We had a wonderful stay here, enjoying coffee in the morning on the decks with the sunrise. Quiet picturesque country location with beautiful trees and landscaping. The birdwatching was top notch and you felt completely immersed in nature the entire stay. We appreciated how clean and updated the home was along with the personal touches of snacks and bottled water being provided. Great vacation spot and we would love to come stay again. ”

“We loved Black Bear Cabin and would definitely stay again! The place was absolutely spotless and had everything we could need, plus some extra touches like K-cups and creamer for our morning coffee. There are games and books, and the game room has tons of fun things to do. Miranda was very responsive and even had the AC going for us when we arrived on a 90-degree day! We will stay again.”

The kitchen was well-equipped for everything we needed, the bathroom was sparkling clean with generous provision of shower products, and the home was cool and comfortable! “Four of us stayed here for the eclipse. The place was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were a lot larger than I was expecting. The nearby trains can be a little loud, however the host was prepared with earplugs for sleeping and we all slept well. It is an easy walk to downtown and restaurants. I recommend La Fuente, or Joe's Pizza. My only suggestion would be for more comfortable chairs in the living room.”

“Wr had a wonderful time. The house was so spacious we could spread out and not feel like we were piled on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds and baths were clean and comfortable. We were close enough to town to walk to restaurants and shops. This is a quiet neighborhood in a small town, but we spent a day in St. Louis, only an hour or so away. And the eclipse, what a bonus!
