“My partner and I visited the Newgate Estate for our anniversary, and it was a time we will never forget! The house was perfect. It was spacious, clean, and in a perfect location to walk to the town centre or head over to the beach. We were on the hunt for a pet-friendly rental to bring our dog, and this was the ideal house to have him tag along! The fenced backyard was perfect, he spent so much time out there exploring all the new smells and playing fetch. I would recommend this house to anyone……

“The Lakefront Haven is such a lovely spot! The views of the lake and access to the semi-private beach area definitely made our stay memorable. Lots of outdoor space for games and we spent a lot of time reading on the porch. The cottage was comfortable, well-equipped and had a good amount of common space for everyone (2 adults, 2 teens and a dog). Bedrooms were tight but as expected based on the listing. We loved that we could bring our dog and he loved being there. The neighbouring cottages are……

“The rooms are clean, plenty of towels. There are four bedrooms upstairs with their own en suite bathroom. There are two other rooms upstairs with a shared bathroom all very comfortable. there is another bedroom on the main floor that looks like it was once a large dining room. They can sleep a bunch of kids, but there’s no bathroom. They need to walk upstairs. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. Great outdoor fireplace with firewood supplied. “The property was simple but had everything we needed. It is on an amazing secluded area of beach. The water is lovely (but very cold at the time we visited), shallow, and rocky at first. The sunsets are incomparable. I would definitely book this again. ”
