“Our stay at Sandy Edge Retreat was the perfect start to summer. The cottage was the quintessential lake side getaway. Upon arrival our host Jennifer had provided us with everything we would need for the perfect weekend. There was a nice welcome package including some local coffee and information about the area.The cottage was clean, cozy and close to the beautiful town of Bayfield. “The rooms are clean, plenty of towels. There are four bedrooms upstairs with their own en suite bathroom. There are two other rooms upstairs with a shared bathroom all very comfortable. there is another bedroom on the main floor that looks like it was once a large dining room. They can sleep a bunch of kids, but there’s no bathroom. They need to walk upstairs. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. Great outdoor fireplace with firewood supplied. About a 10 minute walk from the beach, we can watch the……

“Lovely cottage on a very quiet street, not too far from the beach. Beach access can be a bit tricky but once your down there, it's perfect and not crowded. The beach is dog friendly which was great as we had our dog with us. The cottage itself is very well maintained and very spacious. The pictures represent the cottage very well - it's actually even better in person! ”

“We checked in pretty late due to traffic. But we had Wayne come out and give us the run down on the place. He didn't leave anything out. The communication with the host was unmatched. Super friendly and amazing the whole stay. If we needed anything they were there right away. The even brought out toys for our daughter to play with. Would definitely stay here again. “A family of seniors enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay at this cottage. Small soaps, coffee, chocolates and treats for our little dog were special extras that we appreciated. Lots of towels and facecloths were available and a lovely screened in porch was ideal for playing cards in the evening. A wonderful cottage for that was so enjoyable. Thank you. ”
