“Pictures don’t do the view justice! Incredible view of the water with picturesque sunsets every night. Was very easy to get to beach (we walked there) and it was not super crowded. We also had an uber take us to/from Sonoma for the day (about an hour), so we really had the best of both worlds. Though it was had to leave the view! Highly recommend. ”

“The most spectacular weather out at Bodega Bay for this special family get together! We enjoyed the relaxed family centered vibe of this home. Having great soaks at night under the Milky Way and lots of laughs playing pool. Sports on the big TVs and enjoying the accessible beach from a nearby path. There were some musical folks so the piano and guitar were a special touch. Not to mention the old school video game table. The host was very nice too. Everyone had a great time! Beautiful sunsets and……

“It was a little more than we probably would’ve wanted to spend but, once we got there, we realized it was fabulous.Beautiful property very comfortable beds and a gourmet kitchen.The host was also very responsive when I had questions or issues. All good.”

“Beautiful location, comfortable house, with the best views of Bodega Bay and all it's amazing wildlife! We saw Herons, Storks, Otters, and Seals and launches our kayaks from the bay access at the property!”

“Stayed 3 nights. This place is amazing. Everything you could want in a Bodega Bay get away! We did have perfect weather. Mid-August, no wind, mid 70s. The deck out front was incredible for the view. The bed was comfortable, and the hot tub was the perfect added bonus. I was honestly angry at having to go back home after staying here. It was too good. I will definitely be back!!!”

“Wonderful views and ample gathering area for our group of 9. Easy walk to the beach. Pretty much everything worked. Great communication before and after the rental. Offered early check-in and late check-out (for 115) before we asked. ”

“We really liked the location and all the views of the Bay. Everything was very clean and new. The beds are small but comfortable, and wish there was a BBQ, but we really enjoyed our stay. The layout of the bedrooms was perfect for our group...our friends and their daughter had downstairs bedrooms/bathroom and us upstairs. We would stay here again!”

“This is the second time we have stayed at the Heron’s Nest. If it’s possible we enjoyed it more this time. The views are breathtaking. I think the little sitting area nook overlooking the bay where you can sit watch, sip some coffee, and read… it’s worth the price of admission. If you come you might stop at a grocery store inland because the options are pricey. Restaurants are good locally though. Thanks hosts we will see you soon when we need some r&r.”
