“The property was perfect for us as we traveled with 6 children, lots of room and location was perfect., but the property could use a little TLC with regards to the interior, that said, we would book it again if we needed it.”

“This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. The bed was great and having a coffee on the front deck was a great way to start the day. Thank you to the hosts! Cheers @EddieMac75 ”

“The location was beautiful and well cared for. It is a true family run business with the feeling of the passion and love of the owners in all aspects. My brother and I enjoyed our stay and met the owners *who gave me a ride back up the hill when I forgot my keys! I would recommend to anyone looking for a Cabot Trail basecamp! ”

“Cozy cabin in the woods, our dog didn’t want to leave. The bed was a double but we slept better in it than we did with some queen beds. The cabin can get warm for summer but we were able to create a good cross breeze by opening both windows and using the fan provided. It is a beautiful glamping experience. The compost toilet was the biggest adjustment for us. The ferry nearby can be a little noisy if sitting outside but hardly ever noticed it in the cabin. Unfortunately the trails and sauna were……

“This place is truly amazing! We were greeted by one of the owners who went over the specifics. He pointed out an eagle sitting in a nearby tree just waiting for her dinner to swim by in the river bordering the yurt. So comfy, quiet and secluded. I would definitely stay here again.”

“We felt the lockbox was on the wrong door and we had a hard time finding the right door. It was around the opposite side of the house. The key is accessed inside the lock box. The kitchen was well equipped and pleasant to use. One suggestion would be to inform incoming guests that the coffee maker was a keurig.”

“The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. We were first directed to use the showers in the……
