“The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Bolton town centre in a quiet location next to a church. The rooms are next to the pub and restaurant, which can be accessed by an entrance out back. If you prefer to come and go without going through the pub, you are given a key to a side entrance. My room was clean and spacious and the bed large and comfy. The bathroom was modern and clean. “The Nest is a great self-contained, first floor, two-room apartment (kitchen-living and bedroom-bathroom). It has been decorated and fitted out with modern and comfortable fixtures and fittings and is warm, quiet and spotlessly clean. The welcome tray of a few little treats, tea, coffee and milk in the fridge was a nice touch too. I'll certainly book again!”

“Met host on arrival. Was really nice and helpful. Lovely house and having the hottub was amazing. Good area with links to Manchester on public transport. Was here for business but house made it so much more comfortable than living in a hotel. ”

“I booked a triple room, but all the amenities provided were only for one person — one duvet, one towel, one cup, and one set of toiletries. This is clearly unacceptable for a triple room. I reported this to the reception and explained that it was not an urgent request, and I would be fine if the items could be delivered later in the evening. “Interior is very tatty and cheaply done. The plug in the bath didn't work all floors were peeling and lifting even in the bathroom and overall everything looked old and grubby. Very pleased we only stayed for one night”
