“Fantastic location for family travel with a rental car. Not far from the major attractions by driving and located at the lovely cozy Coogee beach which I personally think is less commercial than the Bondi. The room is spacious and decoration / condition is very good. Will come back when we come Sydney again. Recommended to go for the room with a little garden, wonderful place for breakfast.”

“The staff went out of its way to make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely helpful in directing us to the various places we visited. The coffee machine in our family room was a bonus. However, I would suggest buying a cheap milk frother, so as not to have cold milk in our coffee. We appreciated the icemaker and the roominess of our accommodation. “The hostel is cosy and social. It’s not a party hostel, but people do socialise in the kitchen. The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around. I’m 193cm and couldn’t stretch out in the bed. Difficult to sleep. If you value your sleep, find another place. ”

“Our entire stay at Coogee Beach House was great. The hostel is very close to the beach and the bus stops. The hostel is cleaned daily, though it’s really hard to control if some of the other guests are not tidy and considerate. My fiancé and I stayed in a shared room. The bed was comfortable. I would just suggest that the management separate guests who are purely tourists from those who are staying long-term to make the stay more comfortable. I’ve observed this in other hostels as well, when……
