“I spent a week here while looking around for real estate in North Eastern Tenneesse. I brought my 2 year old labrador with me and he had great time on the hobby farm. The cabin is in a great location especially if you are interested in Bristol motorsports. Its also a great jumping off spot for adventures in Tennesse's eastern moutains. ”

“Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The cabin was clean and homey. The location was great and very close to anything you might need while still feeling remote and in nature. Gary and patty were also amazing—super welcoming, kind and helpful. Will definitely be back!”

“A short weekend to celebrate a 60th birthday. His favorite place to go to relax, fish, enjoy the scenery. Can’t say enough good things about Wautauga River Cabins! It’s becoming our home away from home! One thing that is confusing is the check in times and checkout times listed on VRBO email and listed in the cabin. We don’t know which one to go by and we certainly don’t want to put the managers in a bind by overstaying the time. We LOVE the cabin, the area, the fishing, and can’t wait to return……

“We spent a couple of nights at this lovely quaint cabin while traveling through Tennessee. It far exceeded our expectations. A wonderful place to sit back, relax, watch the snow fall and be entertained by the peacocks, read and just enjoy the beauty of the property. Very clean, comfortable, warm and we loved hearing the history of the property. We look forward to returning again as we visit Tennessee. ”

“The cabin stay was wonderful for the whole family ( age range 8 to 72). The cabin is full of character, history and charm with all the modern conveniences. In spite of some pretty chilly weather the family enjoyed fishing, loved the hot tub and enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals . The Christmas decorations were lovely - a home away from home. I highly recommend the Cedar Cabin and we definitely hope to return. Thank you Patty and……

“We stay here 2 or 3 times a year. Always clean and relaxing.”

“It was a unique stay at this property. Not the average cabin in the woods. The area was beautiful this time of year (Fall). And the creek running beside the property was picturesque. Overall, we had a wonderful time. We had a slight problem with noise, but the owners and staff took care of our issue and immediately moved us to another Chalet. Thank you for sharing your property with us, we will be back!”

“The rolling river in front of the cabin was for sure beautiful. Loved the great condition of the pans in this rental...rare excellent condition. Bed was not comfortable (needs a box spring or pillow top added.) Would advise anyone going here to slow down when you see the dump trailer rentals, the road to cabins leads in there. It was not marked, owner said that trucks keep knocking sign down but the way our GPS led us, we would have missed it, had we arrived in the dark. Overall, it is a good……

“We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this property. It’s semi-secluded yet close enough to get anywhere we wanted to go in 15-25 minutes. The cabin very comfortably accommodated the two of us. The shower is a nice size and living room seating was comfortable for two people. It’s so quiet at night! There are no street lights so if you arrive after dark, it’s a little tricky to find. Make sure you look at the images in Google maps so you can easily recognize the road to turn off. (Our GPS stopped……
