“This was a girls trip to visit the town where one of us grew up and this was centrally located to all that we wanted to see. The property was charming, clean and they thought of all the comforts.It was very pet friendly and our elderly dog was in heaven. It was a little difficult for her to navigate the steep, narrow stairs to get to the bedrooms, but it all worked out since we only went up and down twice a day. It would have been nice to trade out one of the 3 twin beds for a double or queen,……

“The house smelled horrible; it seems to have a mold problem. Couches were dirty, and the temperature was set to 50 degrees. It took the house two hours to warm up. Limited blankets; we could only find one. We walked downstairs and discovered three unmade bunk beds and a refrigerator full of food. We wondered if people were living there. The stairs only lock from the basement side and there is a door leading to the outside, so that did not feel very secure. I would not recommend this……

“My husband and I absolutely loved the property! The cottage is beautiful, it was stocked with everything you may need. The view from the front porch was breathtaking!! We would love to book again in the future, definitely for the fall next time around. I can only imagine how much more beautiful it is at that time of year. ”

“The boat was just as pictured but the views of the fall foliage were even better than imagined. It was like glamping on the water. Perfectly situated near all the attractions of Laconia and Meredith, walking distance to several great establishments. Property manager extremely friendly and helpful I was pleasantly surprised that pool and hot tub were still open this late in the season. We would definitely come back”

“We stayed there for Laconia weekend 2024. 4 couples were very comfortable. The street up to a certain part to get to location is paved then dirt. The driveway dirt and rocks which is rough especially for motorcycle. Owner allowed easy early check in and we were able to park motorcycles in garage which was awesome. Home could use some maintenance but overall nice. The location was quiet and secluded. Only downfall with the location for us is distance not walkable to get to weirs strip which we……

“Loon Retreat is a well-kept home with 4+ bedroom areas and lots of space. The kitchen has plenty of pots & pans, utencils, modern appliances and a large table able to seat our group of 10; lots of books, artwork, games, binoculars, etc. We were very happy with the large back deck, 4 kayaks & canoe and easily accessed dock and swimming area. The lake is very clean. We were disappointed that we could not bring a portable firepit for s'mores --a first in our many years of lakeside renting, and that……
