“The pics absolutely do not do this place justice. Chris is an amazing host, and helped us out with a last minute change of plans. This is a really nice houseboat, and the highlight of our trip. It was clean and well stocked with amenities. We traveled to Olympia with another family who was staying at a rental nearby and they were so jealous when they saw where we got to stay... We truly had an awesome time sitting on the roof watching all the jellyfish. The neighbors are all so friendly and……

“We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The quiet, secluded, insanely beautiful view was just what my sister and I were looking for. The hot tub and outdoor seating area with fire pit was perfect in the evenings. The unit is down some fairly steep stairs, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. We only had one minor issue with the shower, but the host fixed it within the hour while we were out exploring the area. The host does live on the property, so you will hear them walking……

“Quaint cottage right on Lake Josephine. Very welcoming and had all the amenities you need! The best location on the island. 1 mile walk to the store and coffee shop. Restaurant and bar right next door and the golf course is just across the road. Islanders were very friendly and helpful. We rented kayaks from a local that lived just down the street. Only place on the island that we found to get lake equipment. Bring your fishing poles and your swim trunks. There is few great spots for swimming……

“The Steilacoom Ferry was simple to navigate online tickets as well as boarding. During the short ride across the water to Anderson island we saw dolphins and tons of jellyfish. The VRBO was incredibly easy to find from the ferry docking- maybe a 5 minute drive & just two turns. The back deck of the VRBO faces the water. You can just sit out and watch the sound first thing in the morning and at the end of the day. Having complete access to the waterfront as well as kayaks was amazing. During low……

“Perfect spot for a family with plenty of space. Quiet neighborhood close to the 16 and the waterfront. Well equipped kitchen and cozy living room downstairs with 3 spacious bedrooms plus an office upstairs rounded out this place. Super clean. Great landing place while visiting family in the area. ”

“Great view and access to the lake. Geoff made sure the house has all the toys you'll ever need. The house is very well stocked with kitchen tools, soaps, blankets, and pillows.”

“The stay here was very peaceful and relaxing. We loved watching the ducks and ducklings, the geese and their goslings, and the deer meandering through the property. The house was clean, tidy, and well labeled and stocked. We wish we could have stayed longer. While overall it was a great stay, the description of beds is a bit confusing. We needed 4 beds for 5 people. There were 2 queen beds and 1 twin murphy bed each in their own bedroom. It lists a double bed but isn't clear where. It seems……
