Upon alerting customer service of this and the notice in the elevator stating short term rentals are not allowed, they said the host said the notice is old and no longer relevant, and the most they could do is a 50$ refund as it did not classify as part of the guarantee to find a place. We left, contacted the general manager of the building, and confirmed it was not allowed to be rented. We contacted VRBO……

“The room was small. Bed comfortable. I like that I could walk in all directions in the neighborhood and find stores, restaurants, markets. We had construction noise early in the morning. Parking was a bit tricky but they do have it for an extra charge. It was a nice stay and I would visit again and recommend.”
