“I stayed three nights and the room was clean and simple. Amazing wifi, but poor tv reception and selection. My room was near the office and spa and there was a lot of foot traffic and noise -- I'd recommend a room on the second floor. They seem to be renovating so there was renovation noise after 9 am too. Pool looked good but was too cold to try it out. Nice breakfast included. I had two strange breakfast related experiences. First, I was told breakfast was served between 7 and 9 am, but then……

“Gweta Lodge was a perfect break point in our journey, we stayed two nights. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a lovely village walk one morning, and then enjoyed the evening drive to the pans visiting the Bushmen and the meerkats on the way. The facilities are good enough to make you feel relaxed and at home. We had a lovely time.”

“Notre nuit de camping au Pelican Lodge and Camping s'est finalement transformée en nuit en chambre très confortable après un enlisement de notre 4x4 dans le Nata Bird Sanctuary situé à une dizaine de kilomètre du lodge. L'accueil a été parfait et toute l'équipe du Pelican Lodge and Camping s'est mobilisée pour nous aider dans notre galère. On y a passé un bon moment et cela nous à permis de rencontrer et discuter avec les guides locaux qui sont géniaux et nous ont vraiment aider. Le personnel……

“They have the worst management team and no coordination whatsoever. We were given a room that wasn’t ready upon our arrival and nothing in the room was working. The shower and tub were dirty and management claimed that was their usual condition, which we had to be told only after raising a complaint. Our booking was supposed to include a free breakfast which was never provided. Management excepted us to pay twice even though we showed proof of payment via the app online, second time being on……
