“We had a large 5 family group celebrating the end of our homeschool year learning about CA history. This was a perfect central location for that! We visited Sutter's Fort, Sutter's Mill, The Capital, RR Museum, Gold Bug Mine & downtown Placerville. The house was perfect for the families with kids that ranged from 1.5 to 16y. “This lovely and amazing VRBO hosted by Diane, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, made for a wonderful romantic getaway for two that we can easily see extending to a week's stay with the whole family. Diane has set the house up to be very generously appointed, with everything from martini glasses to a rice cooker, making it feel like a home away from home (with way more options for entertaining). The space is quiet, clean, and private, yet fun, with plenty to do both indoors……
