“The property is truly breathtaking and the photos do not do the location justice. It is indeed high up in a cliff overlooking the beautiful Shenandoah. We spent almost all of our time on the back deck, watching storms roll by and listening to the birds. Inside, we did not lack for anything. “We had a fantastic stay at the property. The home is very charming and the pool is great. The location was also really nice. Close to wineries and hiking. Two points of feedback are that the dishes were visibly dirty upon arrival and all of the mattresses need to be replaced. Everyone in the group slept poorly and noted that the mattresses were uncomfortable. The master bedroom should likely also have a larger bed.”

“The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.”

Loved the artistic touches (wall photos, stove covers, dish patterns). Lots of wildlife stopped by -deer, woodpecker, birds! Would definately stay again!”

“We really enjoyed our stay, the four bedrooms gave us lots of space. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed the balcony, too. Very close to lots of fun wineries and Harper’s Ferry. Quiet location on a road with other houses. I’d recommend bringing extra towels and a few wine glasses if you’re drinking nice wine. Lots of thoughtful touches — games, fireplace, spacious kitchen. It was great!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was fantastic, just right for 5 couples. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable, black out shades were nice. mattresses were deluxe. The whole house was beautifully decorated, and furnished with very nice pieces. The covered porch and fire pit, were both exceptional experiences for our group. Loved being in nature, and away from the city. Listening to the owls, and watching the horses graze, and deer run freely. Dishwasher did not work, but I am……
