“We had a great time and loved the nearby parks and trails to walk, ride bikes, and pick-up local food and drink. We will be back again in the future.”

“Bobbi was wonderful throughout our time there at the Sanctuary. We had 46 people staying there for our family reunion and it was amazing! The kitchen was fully stocked. We had 2 large gathering places and the beds were comfortable. Checkout was smooth too. We liked it so much that we will be going back for our next family reunion.”

“This was a perfect quiet getaway. We even caught a fair amount of fish right from the dock. The kids had easy access for swimming and paddle boarding as well. Beautiful, clean home. Kitchen was probably one of the better stocked rentals I’ve stayed at. I’ve learned to bring my own Tupperware when staying at rentals. The only suggestion I would have would be to put some small dressers in the 2 larger bedrooms and a small shelving unit or something in the bathroom as there was no place to really……

“This is an amazing property and a great stay. I always try to leave something to be improved on however: There is a small hornet/wasp nest somewhere under the stairs down to the lake, near the shed. Several people were stung. But it was not a constant problem so the nest must be small, but probably worth removing. Also, there was not enough toilet paper (at least that we could find) to cover all bathrooms so we had to buy some. But like I said overall very very nice and would definitely……

“This was a great place for two families to share a long weekend with all of our adult kids. Everyone had their own space and at the same time there were so many nice common areas to gather. We ended up with great weather, but if it hadn’t been nice outside we would’ve spent more time in the game room. Everyone enjoyed the space and great memories were made.”

“What an amazing stay! From the comfort and size of the well maintained and fully stocked house and yard (lawn furniture, bbq, and fire pit) to the beauty overlooking a large horse farm bustling with activity and lots of horses all just minutes from downtown Eau Claire. Loved the stay and made to feel at home by the host’s thoughtful hospitality which included makings for s’mores, coffee and baskets full of any toiletries that may have been needed or forgotten. “Check in was very easy and the host was readily available as questions arose.The kitchen is well-stocked. It was great to have another fridge/freezer for drinks and ice. We cooked all our meals, so it was a bit tight for a group of 16 - but we made do my swapping out cooking and dish duties.”

“Sadly we came into town from upstate New York for a funeral, but this house and its location were just perfect! Our extended family had a place to meet after the funeral where we found a space that was inviting and relaxing. We laughed, we hugged, and we shared memories. The time spent with family was wonderful. This is such a beautiful well maintained house nestled in the perfect location. Thank you so much for allowing us the use of your beautiful home!! ”

“My family and I had a wonderful 5 night stay! We had 6 adults, 4 children and 2 dogs. We all had our own spaces. The kids really enjoyed playing in the large yard. The home is a short walk to the lake. Renting the pontoon for a few days was one of our highlights. Very nice boat. Communication with the owner, Jake, was easy and prompt. ”
