“A quaint little house nestled amongst the trees within hidden valley surrounded by nature. The location was perfect as it was so peaceful and quiet with a quick drive to town. There were plenty of trails, a beach and lots of places to visit or you could just spend a peaceful day sitting on the porch reading a book. The owners also provided a variety of games, puzzles and books. The turntable was an added touch as there’s nothing better than music from an old record. Highly recommend. ”

“We loved the inside of the cottage, it was very clean and beautiful. It had a great view as you can see the lake from the dining table. Host was also helpful and provided us with plastic cups at our request, and gave us a tour. I would definitely recommend. ”

“We loved our stay. Perfect location right in the hub of the big 3 lakes. Great for boating with the public boat launch right across the river from the cottage. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need plus the added bonus of a waterside hot tub for evening relaxation. If like sitting on the dock and waving to passing families in their fancy boats then you'll love a summer weekend stay. Highly recommend ”

“We loved our stay! Beautiful home with cozy beds and pillows. Nice and airy with the ceiling fans. Great place and layout, very cozy and clean. Little tricky getting down to the water be careful if you have mobility issues.Maybe inquire about the kayak/canoe ahead of time- we didn’t ask the host about it but they were kept under the deck and didn’t seem very accessible/clean so we didn’t bother to take them out. ”

“We really enjoyed our family getaway over the Labour Day. The cottage is cute and is a close drive to Bala. It would be have been preferable to be waterfront or have better lake access but the place was clean, the owners were nice and the area is still lovely. ”

“My family of 5 adults loved staying in this wonderful, spacious home. We were all so comfortable inside with the layout that gave each of us the privacy when we wanted and space for meal prep, dining, board games and hanging out together too. There were more than enough linen and towels.The location is truly minutes from the centre of Gravenhurst and also close to the activities we chose to engage in. Our host was very helpful in every way.We had so much fun in this home and in the Gravenhurst……

“Lovely property and location. The absence of any closet space for our clothing was somwhat troublesome as we had to live out of suitcases for the duration of our stay. Otherwise we were most pleased.”

“A memorable and intimate getaway! The location is absolutely perfect – right on the water, yet just a short drive from downtown Huntsville. But honestly, once we settled in, we didn’t feel the need to go out much. The rustic charm of the cottage made it easy to fully relax and focus on, well, each other. It was spacious enough to easily accommodate 10 guys. Whether it was enjoying the serene mornings on the deck, or those quieter, more intimate nights by the fire, the atmosphere made it feel……

“Beautiful spot with incredible view. Just a few minor details overlooked. More cooking pots/pans would be handy, as well as additional tea, towels, washcloths, and dish cloths. A recommendation might be to cut back the trees in the entrance slightly as to allow for a safer exit onto busy roadway. Overall, Wonderful for a relaxing vacation. Paddle boards on site were certainly appreciated. ”

“Great quiet location away from the city. Cute little cottage - enough for a couple. Close to small town of Bala. Only issue was the heat in the living area. Need more heaters and blinds in the living room. ”
