“Group of 7 of us stayed for an business strategy and planning retreat. The house is spacious with many comfortable rooms and three really nice group gathering areas. From housing perspective, it was perfect for us and we never felt tight or cramped. Access to Old Rag parking was 10-12 minutes, and maybe 25 minutes to Shenandoah Nat Park Entrance, but easy. 15 minutes to Sperryville. This is is country. “This was a great spot for a college reunion of 10 guys. We jump around from year to year, but are planning to come back here. We were all amazed at the construction of the main house and it's giant pine logs. (Suggestion: hire a professional photographer to represent the place better on this site.) “We enjoyed our stay very much. The space was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was pretty well stocked in both pans and staples. We were disappointed, however, with how full the freezer was with food, almost to the point where we couldn’t store what we brought, and the refrigerator was fairly filled as well We also would’ve liked if the campfire chairs had been better maintained, but the grill worked well. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and felt it was a very good value.”
