“Our hostess, Sophie has been excellent with local places of interest including some local restaurants. Our “villa” was very comfortable and fresh with a queen sized bed. Our stay was made very enjoyable, even the local patisserie/boulangerie were welcoming. We even bought some of Sophie’s porcelain ”

“Hotel Recour was without a doubt the best place we stayed the entire time we were in Europe. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly, the prices were very reasonable, breakfast was a wonderful spread and the location cannot be beat. And that's not even mentioning the absolutely beautiful room with a large bath that was very welcome after the trek out to Poperinge!”

“Wat een ontzettend aardige familie die ontzettend haar best doet om het de gasten zo goed mogelijk naar de zin te maken. Mooie inrichting, gemoedelijk sfeer als je iets wil drinken maak een briefje met je kamer nummer en schrijf je op wat je drinkt. Zelf was ik erg gecharmeerd van de vele dichtbundels waar je lekker in kon lezen. We gaan zeker nog een keer terug.”

“As a business traveller, this was a great find. On entry, the place has an amazing and welcoming patio garden which leads to the reception / bar. The room was immaculately clean as was the gigantic bathroom. The owner, Sandy, made me and other guests most welcome and i'll definitely be staying here again next month. ”
