“We thought the place was very comfortable, it had all that we needed, and it was very clean! We used it as a central location for a couples weekend of antiquing. It was easy to find even though it was up in the woods. We used Google maps and it brought us right there. The water did have a slight smell, but that's typical with well water, and it was nice that they had a filter on the sink to use. Maybe a bigger coffee pot would be nice, we were all coffee drinkers and the little pot didn't go too……

“The cabin is so cute and comfortable especially for a beautiful snow storm. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook: toaster oven, microwave, fridge, stove/full sized oven, coffee pot, utensils. The porches are perfect to do a ton of bird watching from. We had several families of deer walk by. The hot tub is such a nice treat! It worked perfectly while we were there and was piping hot. I appreciate the added privacy around the hot tub. “Very nice spot with interesting layout. The hot water heater requires an aluminum anode rod, as your mineral mix in the well is most likely high in manganese. The sulfuric stench is such that we didn’t want to use the hot water at all. I read other reviews along the same lines, so it has been brought to the owners attention, yet not remedied. Therefore, we wouldn’t stay again unless it was guaranteed that it has been fixed. ”
