“Lavishing in a hot tub deep in the forest alongside a clear, rushing river, flourishing rhododendron, and other flowers was the epitome of "forest bathing." It was cool, cloudy, and rainy during our stay, and we didn't care! Hot-tubbing in the rain is an exquisite experience. The home was just rustic enough to be an authentic cabin in the forest. The upgraded kitchen and bathrooms made our stay even more enjoyable. With a gas fireplace, comfortable furnishings, and plenty of windows to enjoy the……

“Had a great time at the cabin and made a great home base for sledding at snow bunny! Clean and well stocked! I was worried about loft for kids but it’s bigger than photos look so we didn’t have any concerns/issues with them sleeping and playing up there. We will be back!”

“Seems like everything is no more than 25 minutes away - wonderful hosts that had everything set up as advertised, friendly but not obtrusive….the Portland weather kept us from enjoying the hot tub and fire pit during our extended weekend stay , but the yard is a magnificent oasis of flowers, fresh herbs and a. Fig tree and lots of singing birds in the morning to enjoy with your coffee on the deck …as a veteran of the great folk scare of the 1960’s the vinyl collection is outstanding. ”

“Pros:Very relaxing place to rest, mediate, cook and sleep with the sounds of the river and nature.Cons:The septic system its in need of urgent repairs. Toilets wont flush properly. The trophies on the walls are smelly and sad to look at.I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family.”

“Family from two States flew in to see mmy daughter graduate law school at Lewis and Clark.the house accomadated myself, my son his wife their 3 year old, my brother and his wife, my sister in law and her husband vey comfortably. The home owner gave us prmission to hold a small celebration Saturday night for her. Wonderful time. Loved the game room and hot tub. permission to hold a celebration ”

“The property was very clean and had everything we could need or want. The property manager was friendly and helpful.”

“This house was in a great safe feeling neighborhood. Check in was very easy. Communication with the host was very easy and they always answered. The only complaint we had was that we noticed quite an ant problem in the upstairs master bedroom. It's Oregon and the right time of year that these guys show up so we don't hold it against the property owner but it was a little unnerving. Other than that stay was good. The house needs a little TLC in some areas but not anything that would keep us from……
