“The property was great, and very clean. We were given clear instructions on where the house was located on the street, and where to avoid parking. The location was good from Three Oaks and downtown New Buffalo, and we were able to get an Uber. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! ”

“Beautiful location, quiet, serene, peaceful. Very good walking area. Amazing views. Beautifully decorated but felt it was not well maintained. Most importantly, pocket door in Master suite off track so acted like a barrier to the bathroom vs entrance way. Had to walk all the way around the common areas and the stairs to use the Master bathroom in the dark. There was clutter in corners that wasn’t decorative. There were ants on the kitchen counter. Dishes did not feel clean so we had to run a……

“Property was basically just steps from the lake. Quaint 50’s style cottage. Small bedrooms , small living space. Cute but very dated. Was very difficult for my elderly parents to climb up the stairs to enter main living area with no rails to hold on to. Bathroom needed repairs. Notified host and brought to their attention the slipHazard in the tiled showed,and the broken bathroom sink. “The cabin is so cute and perfect for parents and children. My twin boys are 8 and they loved the loft. Our bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. The huge porch was the highlight for us.”

“The house is beautiful, and we met the owner, who is great. We had two issues, though. First, the Master Bedroom is not available. The owner uses it, so it is locked. The other three bedrooms are small. The bunk beds are not in a bedroom; they are in a hallway. We had difficulty finding a place for everyone to sleep, even though the house is gigantic. Second, working with Vacasa, the management company, was very difficult. The check-in time was 3:00 p.m., but I had an important Zoom call……

“4 nights of peace and serenity. We were lucky enough to have rain every night. The kids loved their lofted area for TV and games while us old people (parents) hung out in the spacious living space, reading and listening to nature. Our dog enjoyed the smells of the trees and abundant squirrels! My son learned to fish and my daughter learned she won’t touch worms. It was a remarkable 5 days as a getaway from the normal grind.
