“The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and more! The grill worked well too. The view of the lake was wonderful, and having the kayaks a bonus. It would be nice to have a shore access to the lake, but the spot at Sunset Lake is very close by. Everyone was happy to swim at both places. We enjoyed the house very much, and found things as described. The only slight negatives are the road leading in and the access to the dock. Although every……

“We could not have asked for a better setting for relaxing away from it all. Cabin was very well equipped allowing us to prepare our own meals. The location right at the water with its own beach was ideal for reading a book or casting a line. Property owners were very responsive and perfect hosts! I highly recommend this location and would return if the opportunity was to present itself. ”

“This is the second summer staying at this house and again it was perfect . Plenty to do close by and on the lake water was warm and nice sandy bottom for kids to swim . This house has plenty of games and lawn games for families . The host is excellent ! Looking foward to next year !”

“Our stay at Tacklebox was lovely. The cabin is spotlessly clean and very cozy with thoughtful amenities you would expect at a luxury resort: a beautiful sauna, Japanese soaking tub, nice bath products, outdoor grill, outdoor shower, a firepit, 2 kayaks, a canoe, etc. Access to Lake Champlain from a private dock was easy and the view across the lake from the cabin's deck was spectacular, especially at sunset. All in all, we had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the Tacklebox.”

“Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us! After a period of personal crisis, getting away, far away into the woods!!, was exactly what I needed. We loved eating on the deck. The cabin was spotless. It has everything you could need. A few items for potential guests: the cabin is up several stairs. Once you are in it, it’s fine, but I know my mom would not be able to make it up and my daughter who recently had knee surgery had to take it slow. You’d want 4pm if you came in any colder……

“We stayed for Labor day weekend, and had a great time. The area is beautiful. The house is right on the water, and kayaks were available for our use. The house was clean and comfortable for our three adults, and one dog (It could hold more). We enjoyed that they had a deck with dog gates on either side, so we could leave the dog out when she wanted, or when we were on the deck. Even though it is called Lincoln Pond, it is very good size.
