“We had an excellent experience with this host and this property. It’s in the perfect location in Johnson City to be quiet at night (minimal train noise) but within walking distance to all of the downtown restaurants/breweries. The rental was well equipped and extremely clean. I really enjoyed the character within the home, in addition to the welcoming decor. As a property manager for almost 10 years, the responsiveness and communication was my favorite part. We alerted them of a potential need……

“This is an immaculate small house that also has a big deck and lawn which looks out over a beautiful trout stream. Unfortunately I did not bring my fly rod with me because I didn’t read the listing carefully. The trout were rising all around! I was more focused on the location in the tri city area. The place is clean, well appointed and the owners live right next door. I highly recommend it. The photo is from the stream bank. ”

“Great location, wonderful cozy well decorated home away from home. Every need you could want was included. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and saved us money on restaurant visits, so we had more funds to do other fun things!!! Quiet and definitely a spot for two to enjoy some time away. ”

“Such a sweet little place with great access to the town! Since a good portion of the Virginia Creeper Trail is closed right now we used the house as a jumping off point to a day of hiking near Boone and another day of exploring Cherokee National Forest. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. We ate out for all meals because there were so many great options and didn’t use the kitchen much but it looked to be well appointed. WiFi was strong and the TVs were great. ”

“This place is great. All the essentials you need in the kitchen. Quite neighborhood. Plenty of room and parking. The master bathroom has a rainfall shower. Very clean ”

“This beautiful historic home was very clean and the beds were comfortable. This location is convenient to the charming downtown district as well as a short drive to the Bristol race tracks. There are several wonderful restaurants to choose from that are very close to this location. ”

“This was a great location for going to the racetrack. Less than a 20 minute drive. Close to downtown, which we could walk to in less than 10 minutes. The neighborhood overall seemed pretty safe. We would stay again. The hosts even prepared a cobbler for us that was ready when we arrived. Check this place out!”
