“After a small glitch to begin the stay, which the owner responded to quickly, it was a pleasant stay. The living area, kitchen and dining area are very nice. So is the front porch and the fire pit is also nice although we did not use it. The half bath on the first level was a nice plus. The stairs to the second floor bedrooms are a challenge for elderly ”

“We greatly enjoyed are stay here. Apartment was spacious and clean. Our daughter loved playing with the animals, particularly the dogs and cats. Picking strawberries was also a lot of fun for her. Close to many activities and restaurants. Even got to use the pool when the weather cooperated.”

“We needed a last minute place to stay for one night and this place fit the bill. The place was clean. The amenities were sparse but we didn’t need to do any cooking. The only issue was that the apartment is right above a large industrial electrical outdoor trash dumpster and workers were disposing of trash at 3:00am. The machine was loud but the workers were also audible. It happened again at around 8:30am. Not sure if this is a daily activity as we were only there the one day. ”

For the most part everything listed was present at the place and there were enough sleeping options for our crew. Overall - the owners were nice and fairly responsive but there was a level of disappointment to the care of the property and more importantly the preparedness for our arrival. They said the pool and hot tub were cleaned and ready but the pool was still dirty and the hot tub……

“We made happy memories over a cold January weekend. We cooked together, sat around the fire, played games and dozed in comfortable beds with high quality linens. We enjoyed the view of the water and the twinkling lights on the property at night. The steam shower was divine. If you like cooking, bring good knives, a veggie peeler and good pans.
