“Stayed in the Royalist Suite for a short break with our daughter and found the place just totally amazing. Stephanie was friendly and provided accurate local and check in information. Orton Hall, and the Royalist Suite are stunning and just next level opulence. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, but we hardly used it, as the George pub is literally 5 minutes walk and the food fab, with a very friendly landlors and staff. Kev welcomed us when we arrived and recommended places to visit including the local pub for pizza which was lovely! 100% recommend this cottage for anybody looking to visit the Lake District. “Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,……
