“The front desk staff was extremely friendly and even recommended nearby souvenir shops and an amazing breakfast spot. I would give them a perfect score for their service. The hotel is converted from an old elementary school, which gives it a unique character. However, the bathroom is a bit small, with a sink that seems sized for elementary school students, making it easy to splash water everywhere. “Property was fine and very good service---Front Desk gentleman EXCELLENT ---the only problems that I have encountered : 1) EXPEDIA my reservations were for 2 nights and hotel had me for only 1 night ( not hotel fault- the gentleman tried calling EXPEDIA and we both had a person on the line that did not speak ENGLISH- 2) this had nothing to do with the hotel - when I got to my room - ceiling tiles were all buckled and dripping water ---bed was drenched- Mattress was drenched- rug was drenched-……

“This is an old, classic New England Inn, complete with giant porch with rocking chairs to take the gorgeous view. The room was very comfortable with an updated bathroom. “I’m writing a 5 star review because they went the extra mile. I arrived with my family after a long drive at 1am. Their check in was closed and no staff was present. I was stressing out that I wouldn’t be able to check in to my room and my family would spend the night in the car. However when I arrived I found at the reception an envelope with my name on it and my room keys inside. We got to sleep on a bed after a long nights drive! Thank you for being considerate in that way!”
