“We needed to make a last minute trip to MI from SC to visit family. We were so lucky that this little gem was available. It is small and cozy but had everything we needed. The weather was cold and snowy. It was beautiful. It felt like we were inside a snow globe during our stay. It was only 8 minutes from our family which made it very convenient. We usually make MI our summer vacation but after this stay we are thinking of adding a winter trip. This was a wonderful winter retreat.”

“We stayed here once before, and it was just as perfect as last time. The house has everything you could possibly want or need: Games, puzzles, ping-pong, table, kayaks. It has a view in every direction and lots of spaces together in smaller groups if you want. But possibly the best part is that it’s in the woods with no visible neighbors, and a view of the lake. Checking in and out with the host is super easy as well.”

Beautiful large lake home out in the country on Crooked Lake. “The property was really ideal for our stay. We had 3 teen gymnasts and 4 parents total. Plenty of outdoor areas to explore, and a sweet bakery about a mile down the road. It was close enough to Battle Creek to be able to commute everyday for the competition. Rob is super helpful and quick to respond. The kitchen had plenty of amenities to be able to cook meals, there were plenty of bathroom supplies and cleaning supplies for anything we might need. This would be a perfect spot in warm weather……

“Jeff and Christine's place is amazing! They really made sure I had everything I could possibly need. When we had a power outage, Jeff was super quick to respond, which was so appreciated since I was juggling two little ones (the outage was due to a car hitting a utility pole nearby, not anything with their home!). I've known Jeff for years—he’s a great family friend who we've come to know over the years as my parents live down the street on the lake. It was wonderful to spend some quality time……

“The area and lake was very peaceful, morning coffee on the deck listening to the birds. Afternoon kayaking and sunbathing on the deck and nights eating dinner on the deck with family or playing games. Kitchen and the living room open with a beautiful view of the lake. Matt has thought of everything you will need including the kayaks which was a great hit with the family. Looking for a quiet but yet close to stores this house is it. Hope to return in the years ahead ”

“We had a great time. Love the addition of the indoor pickle ball court. Besides the pool, that was used the most. Also ping pong table, large Connect 4 game plus the card table made the trip well worth the expense. Thanks for everything.”
