Quick and easy driving to restaurants, Estero Llano Grande State Park for birding and Expressway to other areas and South Padre Island. We were delighted to hear and watch Red-Crowned Parrots nesting in the yard next door. ”

“For the price, I think I could have found better. The location is great, but parking is needlessly way too far from the building which means just having to run to the car from your room is needlessly stupid. The free breakfast is good and the staff (with the exception of the late night check-in guy with the black painted fingernails) was polite and helpful. The building needs some upgrades (missing signage made finding our room pretty difficult), but the pool is very nice. Like I said, it wasn't……
