“This was a gorgeous, spacious home for our group of 17. Check-in was a breeze and our extended family had an awesome get-together. We appreciated the different common spaces both inside and outside. “This property was a lucky last minute find. Only 15 minutes from UMD, where my son attends. Can safely have windows open overnight and let the Lake Superior waves lull you to sleep. It is a basement apartment and home owners were not present, so I can’t speak on that. Very nice patio with grill as well as wood burning chiminea, both of which we used and enjoyed immensely. Thank you for sharing your property.”

“Great little cabin in a fairly remote area. Access to Lake Superior South shore is about a 20 min hike on a nice trail. Amenities feel very similar to most commercial/county campsites. Plenty of parking. Keep in mind there is no AC on the cabin but there is heat. Fun little place to stay.”

“I wanted a trip to escape with my kiddos and be in nature!! This was exactly that. We enjoyed every minute and the best part was we were left alone. There was enough dishes for a family of 4. “My husband and I were in Barnes for a friend’s birthday on 4th of July weekend, found Dana and Greg’s place, and loved it. They are so friendly and wonderfully accommodating.
