“This property was all it was represented to be and more. Secluded, quiet and very clean. The master bedroom bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well stocked. If fate finds me in the area again I would gladly stay here another time.”

“This was a gorgeous, spacious home for our group of 17. Check-in was a breeze and our extended family had an awesome get-together. We appreciated the different common spaces both inside and outside. The lake access was great (though the last bit of the path was a little too steep for some our oldest). The nearby Amnicon Falls State Park was beautiful and very accessible.Kitchen-wise: Two coffee pots and the extra frig/ freezer in the guest house came in handy. The grill was a little tricky to……

“My husband and I were in Barnes for a friend’s birthday on 4th of July weekend, found Dana and Greg’s place, and loved it. They are so friendly and wonderfully accommodating. “We enjoyed a very nice time at this VRBO vacation rental. Chad does a great job with the place. He’s also very caring and very approachable for anything that you might need. It’s a very nice setting and close to the many State Parks along the North Shore. I would definitely recommend this log home for anybody looking for a place to stay.”

“We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!”
