“We had a two-day stay at Cable Farm - 5 acres on trails with a private Sauna House. The host has done many things right with this wonderfully restored farmhouse. They've maintained the charm of the original, while including great updates where they count, like the comfortable newer bed in the spacious master bedroom. We especially enjoyed the sauna since the weather during our fall visit was unseasonably cold. It was easy to communicate with the host, who responded quickly to our questions. This……

“We stayed at the Family Chateau over Birkie weekend with another family and had a great time. The cabin is really nice and spacious and is in a great spot. It was about 7 minutes to Hayward and has a great view overlooking the river. It fit our two families very comfortably. Cindy was also super responsive to any questions we had. “This house was perfect for 5 adults for a weekend in Hayward. The house was clean, and with three bathrooms it felt like everyone almost had their own bathroom in addition to having their own room.”

“I’ve always wanted to stay at McNeils and it did not disappoint. From the massive yard, to the cozy cabin. It lies right on some of the best water on the brule, so fishing is made easy. Truly a memorable trip and unforgettable cabin. It was clean and we had all the amenities we could need. Definitely would stay again! ”

“This cabin was a great find and was perfect for what we were looking for. The hosts were amazing with communication and the game room is fantastic! Very kid friendly place if you have kiddos. This was perfect for a getaway and we played camp games for a bachelorette party. ”

“Great location on the western side of Round Lake, making it a short drive into Hayward. Easy to find and access. We appreciated all of the hooks in the bedrooms to hang ski clothes to dry. Nice setup with a seating area on the main level that is open to the dining/kitchen area and a really nice living room, bar and smart TV in the lower level. Someone groomed a 2 mile ski trail around the bay, which was a nice surprise and fun little ski. Kitchen was well stocked and lots of towels provided. ……
