“Great location on the western side of Round Lake, making it a short drive into Hayward. Easy to find and access. We appreciated all of the hooks in the bedrooms to hang ski clothes to dry. Nice setup with a seating area on the main level that is open to the dining/kitchen area and a really nice living room, bar and smart TV in the lower level. Someone groomed a 2 mile ski trail around the bay, which was a nice surprise and fun little ski. Kitchen was well stocked and lots of towels provided. ……

“We had a two-day stay at Cable Farm - 5 acres on trails with a private Sauna House. The host has done many things right with this wonderfully restored farmhouse. They've maintained the charm of the original, while including great updates where they count, like the comfortable newer bed in the spacious master bedroom. We especially enjoyed the sauna since the weather during our fall visit was unseasonably cold. It was easy to communicate with the host, who responded quickly to our questions. This……

“This is a beautiful house! We loved the view of the lake from the house, the deck facing the lake and wrapping around the side, the patio off the deck, for an early morning cup of coffee and chatting or a glass of wine in the evening watching dark settle and lights across the lake come on. For us, 3 bathrooms is a BIG plus! There's a big screen TV where we watched a few shows. There's a water/ice maker on the refrigerator with delicious water! The island worked well for us to set out……

“One of the better VRBOs I've stayed at. Very nice 3 bedroom, 2 baths. Nicely furnished, comfortable, very clean, nice amenities, etc. Best supplied kitchen i have seen, and plenty of towels. Can't say enough good things here. Only minor issue i had was the couch, it wasn't comfortable for me, but fine for the rest of the group. Not an issue since we weren't there sitting around much anyway.”
