“We had a two-day stay at Cable Farm - 5 acres on trails with a private Sauna House. The host has done many things right with this wonderfully restored farmhouse. They've maintained the charm of the original, while including great updates where they count, like the comfortable newer bed in the spacious master bedroom. We especially enjoyed the sauna since the weather during our fall visit was unseasonably cold. It was easy to communicate with the host, who responded quickly to our questions. This……

“We stayed at the Family Chateau over Birkie weekend with another family and had a great time. The cabin is really nice and spacious and is in a great spot. It was about 7 minutes to Hayward and has a great view overlooking the river. It fit our two families very comfortably. Cindy was also super responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend.”

“This house was perfect for 5 adults for a weekend in Hayward. The house was clean, and with three bathrooms it felt like everyone almost had their own bathroom in addition to having their own room.”

“Shower didn't drain well. Shower handle was hard to figure out to get desired temperature. We enjoyed use of the kayaks and the dock. We loved having a sandy beach and fire pit. TV was very nice for watching the Olympics. Overall, the house and outdoor area met our needs very well. ”
