“Our family had a great stay at Chris and Mike's house. We rented both levels of the home and had tons of space. The kitchen and upstairs living area are big and open which made it easy and comfortable to prepare and share meals. “This is our second year staying at the Deer Trail lodges. We have loved our experiences so much that we are trying to start a tradition of going every year. The cabin is rustic and cozy. “Check-in and check out were effortless. Shannon sent an e-mail message prior to our arrival with necessary information. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, silverware, pots/pans, serving utensils, cutting boards, toaster, slow cooker, a traditional coffee pot, and a Keurig coffee maker. We prepared and ate all our meals in the condo. The lake is so clean, the water is warm, and the sand is soft. Next to the pier, it is very shallow so it’s great for kids. There are kayaks and a row boat to use……
