“We loved this place, not only is it beautiful but it also has everything you need for a couple nights stay. It's perfect for a couple or for four people, and there is free parking around the corner. The town is very tiny and peaceful, but close to bigger ones such as Montalcino, reachable by car in about 15 minutes. The only thing we found was not working was one of the two bathroom sinks, which was clogged when we arrived.”

“Die Wohnung liegt ruhig im schönen Dorf Chiusdino, das Meer ist ca. 1 Stunde entfernt, aber der Pool eignet sich gut zum Baden. Es ist genug Platz für 4 Personen. Der Vermiter Paolo ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation war super. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder!”

“Great little bed and breakfast feel, with a lovely view from the terrace. The breakfast voucher is for a great little cafe right nearby and we really enjoyed that added touch. We had the 'green' room and didn't really need the 2nd space with the 2 smaller beds, but it was nice to have so much space, including the kitchen and sitting areas. Very clear instructions on how to find them, especially parking! The video was very helpful ”

“Fabrizio's place is just gorgeous. When we arrived, he gave us a detailed tour of the gardens and house, both of which are beautiful and have all conveniences. We enjoyed walking to the small and lovely town of Farnatella, and driving a few minutes to the gorgeous Lucignano. While he and his wife do live in the downstairs of the house, they have a separate entrance and were respectful of our privacy while we were there. I hope to return for a longer stay!”

“This property is several kilometers up a gravel road from Murlo, Italy. The road is okay but we got a little concerned after it had been raining for a while. The property is remote and near several hiking paths. It is great for people who want to get out and hike around the hills of Italy. The gardens are really nice. We would have spent more time outside if the weather had cooperated more. We went in the fall so it was getting a little cooler up in the hills. There was a nice fireplace that……

“We had a lovely stay and the hosts were warm, accommodating and responsive. The location is incredible -- extensive views from both sides of the property; the hilltop village setting is out of a postcard with lovely little streets and nooks to explore; and the local shops, market days, restaurants provide everything needed locally. “This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.”
