“Very quiet. Room was perfect. Towels lux! BUT...I wish the staff (not kitchen) was more visible. I found myself hunting them. Breakfast was wonderful. Continental and eggs cooked to order and delish. They can also accommodate you if you arrive after 8 pm food wise. It's absolutely beautiful. Many rooms to choose from. Lovely living room and wrap around porch. Perfect if spending the day at Cumberland Island and you don't want to drive home. They can also pack you a lunch to take with……

“The Gray Owl is a charming B&B slightly off the beaten path but convenient to everything on the island. It is a very quiet retreat with a pretty pond with fountain. The breakfasts were great and Betty was an excelllent host.”

“This is our third time staying here! Owner is delightful and goes to every effort to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is beautifully prepared. You can walk to the Cumberland Island ferry and to restaurants. Owner will facilitate a purchase of lunch to take on the ferry. The house is done in a victorian style. Nice front porch for relaxing. ”
