“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Live Oak Cottage with our 2 children (5&9). Everything was as advertised. The house is clean, spacious and up to date. The yard is beautiful with the fire pit and trees and bushes. Our kids loved the pool. We stayed on St Simon in mid April and the weather was perfect with 75-80F with a few chilly nights at the beginning so we added the pool heating and it was amazing. Almost like a spa. “Great walking access to the beach, only couple of blocks away. Vehicle access to property is best if compact vehicles only. It is true, parking for two, but…if two vehicles, turning around to get back out is somewhat challenging. I submitted a few suggestions to help improve stay for next visitors, but we definitely enjoyed this small two bedroom, two bath property. Nothing fancy, I would visit again for sure!”

“This home was perfect for our family of five over the Easter weekend. The online listing is completely accurate. The homeowners are very responsive and accommodating. I appreciate the little touches of some "starter" coffee for the first morning, detergent, shower products, etc. I also love that all of the light switches are labeled! “The house was neat and clean. plenty of room for us to enjoy being with each other. we played cards, shot pool,watched movies. The beach was close enough you could stay on on the side streets to get there. wish i would have checked the jelly fish reportbefore going though. the swimming pool and hot tub were too cold to play in just that time of year. maybe june or july would be betterthis is no reflection on the house”
