“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Live Oak Cottage with our 2 children (5&9). Everything was as advertised. The house is clean, spacious and up to date. The yard is beautiful with the fire pit and trees and bushes. Our kids loved the pool. We stayed on St Simon in mid April and the weather was perfect with 75-80F with a few chilly nights at the beginning so we added the pool heating and it was amazing. Almost like a spa. “Great walking access to the beach, only couple of blocks away. Vehicle access to property is best if compact vehicles only. It is true, parking for two, but…if two vehicles, turning around to get back out is somewhat challenging. What i did not like was the stains on the couch in our room amd rhe restaurant food was not the best. The waitresses and entertainment were great but food not so much.
