“I needed to decompress for a few days, and this was perfect. Beautiful cedar cabin and property, close to civilization if you want it to be, but also far and quiet enough that you can totally unplug if that's what you want. The outhouse is clean and easy to use; the shower is a bit more of a walk than expected, but that's just a statement, not a complaint. “Highly recommend staying here. The property is absolutely stunning and very nice and quiet. The hosts are very prompt and accommodating. You get yet entire lower level of the property which is huge with all the amenities you need. The hot tub was super nice to have access too.The location is a bit of a drive from any major cities or attractions but we didn’t mind the drive, especially since it was such a serene stay away from the noisy city.”

“Had an unplanned layover in Portland while getting repair work done on my Sprinter Van. An employee at Outside Van recommended McMenamins Edgefield and really glad I chose this place. Unique lodging experience and fabulous dinner and breakfast at the pub and restaurant in the main lodge. Much better than staying at a chain hotel! Would have liked to take advantage of the billiards, but didn’t have anyone to play with. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the Portland area!”

“Loved it. Having a dog finding a decent place to stay where they don’t put you in a gross room is hard. Whole place is dog friendly. Staff included. They gave us a doggy welcome gift with poo bags and treats. The park and out door area located behind the facility is amazing. Great place to walk your dog and for kids to play. Place is so clean and the pool area was so nice. Only negative would be it was pretty noisy til pretty late midnight with street traffic. Lots of loud mufflers. I would……
