“We very much enjoyed our stay at Portland Sanctuary! It was myself, my husband and my toddler. It was a large space, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was especially convenient and having basics like oil and spices made it so we could easily prepare a few meals. Beds were quite comfy too. My son loved the chickens in the yard! Only negatives were that the heaters are low to the ground and can get hot to the touch so I had to be careful which ones were on when my toddler was ”

Great for the price; the accommodations are low-end hotel quality and could cost 50% more and still be a good deal. Minor, minor issues for the hesitant: - thin walls and a slight lack of privacy- there were drainflies around the shower and a single gnat in the blinds. - the neighborhood is a little sketchy, especially late at night.……

They don’t have onsite parking, but if you’re visiting with a vehicle, there are surface lots close by. The only negative was the weekend noise level. It’s not Memoir Buckman’s fault, but the sports bar (Jackie’s) across the street has a dj or something on Friday and Saturday nights until about 2 AM. My room faced the bar, and the music was so……
