“This is a place that feels like a home away from home - with some very cool perks. The waterfall and creek on the property sets the ambiance with both the sounds & views. The hot tub was wonderful for both cool mornings and evenings. Each bedroom has its own heater, window unit AC, ceiling fan, & tv. Windows open to the waterfall which is great. We stayed in October so we were using heat at night and no AC. The heat in the house is different in each room. We read the reviews about the mix of gas……

The area was close enough to town to be a short drive but far enough away enough to be secluded and private. “Bad smell in garage. No porch light on entry door(possible code violation) .No handrails on steps (again possible code violation). Outside lights didn't work. Had fireplace but didn't work. (Owner said they couldn't get it fixed??) Main bedroom had no bathroom door (just a curtain...come on) Only 1 TV in whole house (which was kinda small). “The Buffalo Creek cottage is great, close to the main downtown area of Bryson City yet slightly away so you get the secluded cabin experience! The host was very responsive and considerate in allowing us an early check-in. The cabin is very comfortable and looks great. The outdoor deck overlooking the Smokies offers the most fantastic view!”
